KARACHI: Team Ali & Associates celebrated World IP Day organized by the Karachi Chambers of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). The meeting was aimed at expanding on this year’s theme, “Women and IP: Accelerating innovation and creativity, and opening a dialogue for the Intellectual Property related issues faced by women entrepreneurs in Pakistan.
The meeting was convened by Shamim Ahmed Chairman, KCCI, and Durre Shahwar Nissar, Chairperson Women Entrepreneurs Sub-Committee. In addition, Syed Nasrullah, Registrar of Copyrights, IPO Pakistan, and Zubia Hassan, Controller of Patents and Registrar of Designs, IPO Pakistan also presided at the meeting and discussed IPO Pakistan’s measures in supporting women through Intellectual Property.
