ISLAMABAD: Karimullah Adeni, the Managing Partner of Ali & Associates, along with other senior leadership members from the firm, attended the Pharma Export Summit and Awards (PESA) - 2023 held in Islamabad.
Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif addressed the Pharma Export Summit and Awards Ceremony. During the event, Syed Naveed Qamar, the Federal Minister for Commerce, emphasized the necessity for collaborative efforts from the government, industry players, and regulatory bodies to boost pharmaceutical exports.
Distinguished personalities present at the summit included Musadik Malik, the Minister of Energy; Syed Farooq Bukhari, the Chairman of the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers' Association (PPMA); Kaiser Waheed, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for PESA and President & CEO of MediSure; Asim Rauf, the Chief Executive Officer of the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP); Zubair Motiwala, the Chief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP); and Emily Kaine, M.D., the Senior Vice President of Global Health and Manufacturing Services at the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP), among other esteemed leaders and individuals.
