A consultative meeting was held with Stakeholders to propose amendments to the Copyright Ordinance 1962 (as amended in 2000), with the aim to safeguard the interests of the artist community and to make the Copyright environment of Pakistan stronger.
The meeting was conducted by IPO Pakistan. Business leaders, representatives of trade bodies, lawyers and artists across the nation also attended the meeting.
Syed Auqil Ali Shah, Senior Partner, Ali & Associates and Chairman, PIPRA; Hanya Haroon, Partner, Ali & Associates and other team members of the firm were also present during the consultative session.
